Traumeel®

Traumeel is made up of a combination of 12 botanical and 1 mineral substances.
Read about each substance, their benefits and treatment info below:

*Achillea millefolium: Haemorrhages, especially precapillary arteriovenous (anastomosis, oozing haemorrages).
*Aconitum napellus: Fever with hot, dry skin, neuralgia, inflammatory rheumatism; improvement of the vasotonia: analgesic, haemostatic.
*Arnica montana: To stimulate the healing of wounds, fractures, dislocations, contusions, haematomas.
*Atropa belladonna:  Localized reaction phases, cerebral sensitivity with cramp and delirium.
*Bellis perennis:  Dislocations, contusions, sensations of soreness in the abdominal wall/cavity, exudative processes, resorption of oedema.
*Calendula officinalis:  Slowly healing wounds, promotes granulation, analgesic.
*Chamomilla recutita: Anti-inflammatory; stimulates granulation, promotes healing in difficultly healing wounds and ulcers; fistulae, haemorrhoids, mastitis, intertrigo, aphtous stomatitis, conditions of restlessness and excitation, disorders of dentition, otitis media, glandular swellings.
*Echinacea angustifolia: Increase in the mesenchymal defences; inflammation of all kinds and locations, septic processes; hyaluronidase inhibiting, anti-inflammatory action.
*Echinacea purpurea:  Activation of the histogenous and haematogenous defences in inflammatory processes and general infections, fibroblaststimulating effect.
*Hamamelis virginiana: Venous stasis, varicose veins, (thrombo-) phlebitis, crural ulcers, haemorrhoids, venous haemorrhages, anti-inflammatory, analgesic.
*Hepar sulphuris: Tendency to suppuration, especially on the skin and lymph glands, tonsillar abscesses, chalazions, urinary disorders...
*Hypericum perforatum:  Neural and cerebral injuries, e.g. commotio cerebri; neural pains upon or after injuries; haemostatic.
*Symphytum officinale: To accelerate callus formation in fractures; periostitis, causalgia, disorders arising from amputation stumps; contusions.

Indications:
Injuries such as sprains, dislocations, contusions, effusions of blood and effusions into a joint, fractures; post-operative and post-traumatic edema and swelling of the soft tissues; inflammatory processes and degenerative processes associated with inflammation on the various organs and tissues, including, in particular, on the support and mobility apparatus (tendovaginitis, styloiditis, epicondylitis, bursitis, scapulohumeral periarthritis); arthrosis of the hip, knee and small joints; commotio cerebri acuta.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients or to botanicals of the Compositae family. As a general principle, based on possible immunological reactions after the intake of Echinacea, avoid in cases of progressive systemic disorders such as tuberculosis, leucocytosis, collagen vascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, HIV infection, full-blown AIDS and other autoimmune disorders.

Side Effects:
In isolated cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Skin rashes and itching have been observed after use of Echinacea products. In rare cases, facial edema, respiratory distress, dizziness, and hypotension have also been noted.

Dosage:
 Apply generously 3 times daily, or more often if necessary, to the affected area, rubbing in gently. If appropriate, also apply an ointment dressing.

Composition:
Active ingredients: 100 g contains: Hepar sulphuris D6 0,025 g; Belladonna D1 0,05 g; Calendula officinalis 0,45 g; Chamomilla 0,15 g; Millefolium 0,09 g; Aconitum napellus D1 0,05 g; Bellis perennis 0,1 g; Hypericum perforatum D6 0,09 g; Echinace angustifolia 0,15 g; Echinace purpurea 0,15 g; Arnica montana, radix D3 1,5 g; Hamamelis virginiana 0,45 g; Symphytum officinale D4 0,1 g; Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni D6 0,04 g.

Dosage:
In general, 1 tablet to be taken 3-5 times daily. In acute cases, 1 tablet every 15 minutes (for a period of up to two hours).

Composition:
1 tablet cont.: Aconitum napellus D4 120 mg; Bryonia alba D4, Lachesis mutus D12, 60 mg each; Eupatorium perfoliatum D3, Phosphorus D5, 30 mg each.

Dosage:

Monodose: 0.45 ml cont.: Euphrasia officinalis D5, Cochlearia officinalis D5, Pilocarpus D5, Echinacea angustifolia D5, 0.1107 ml each.

Indications:
