Enzymes
Lipase is the enzyme to digest fats. Lipase works throughout the digestive process to break down the fats and lipids (fatty acids) in our diet to make them easier to absorb. Fats are the most difficult component of the diet to digest. Fats are also a major source of fuel for the heart muscle.
